“The Tokyo Sky Tree, or the New Tokyo Tower is a broadcasting tower currently under construction in Sumida, Tokyo, Japan. It will be the tallest artificial structure in Japan at 610.58m (2,003 ft) tall. The present Tokyo Tower (333 m) is insufficient in height for a digital terrestrial television broadcasting coverage since the construction of many high rise buildings in the central part of the metropolis.
The plan is being led by Tobu Railway and a group of six terrestrial broadcasters, led by the public broadcaster NHK. The tower is planned to be completed by December 2011, to open to the public in Spring 2012.”
Inshallah I’m planning to visit this tower which will be located just by the Sumida river, beautiful sceneries can be observed there!! Can’t wait to fly from the Tokyo Sky Tree!!

Nice, but the old Tokyo Tower have more than that, a lot o memories specially in anime and live action he he he almost in every anime they destroyed it!!
Yup, the old Tokyo Tower will always be the only Tokyo Tower, the new one is called Tokyo Sky Tree which I liked that there is only one Tokyo Tower.
Yeah they kept destroying it in every anime but I liked how fast they rebuilt it to showup again in later episodes hehehehe!!
Tokyo Tower is such a wonderful landmark. The tower is the same even though its surroundings have changed so much
