“Yokohama is the capital city of Kanagawa Perfecture in Japan. It lies on Tokyo Bay, south of Tokyo, in the Kanto region of the main island of Honshu. Yokohama’s population of 3.6 million makes it Japan’s largest incorporated city. It developed rapidly and today it’s one of Japan’s major ports along with Kobe, Osaka, Nagoya, Hakata, Tokyo and Chiba.”
Yokohama is one of my favourite cities in Japan. I personally liked the Minato Mirai 21, it’s where you can see the Landmark Tower, Japan’s tallest skyscraper, besides Yokohama Museum of Art, shops, restaurants and amusement parks. Minato Mirai 21 is one of the few places in the Tokyo-Yokohama area where the seashore is accessible.
Unfortunately, in my last visit to Yokohama I’ve missed to see the Yokohama Marine Tower, the tallest inland lighthouse in the world!!
